Inside Sales Manager

Summary:
A CRG client is seeking a motivated, experienced Inside Sales Manager to lead its team. This client is the greater Philadelphia area’s premier organization for developing young athletes through mentorship, instruction, and competition. Since 1998, the organization has evolved from one to six facilities and is a national leader for baseball and softball training with a focus on mentoring young players and emphasizing the benefits of hard work, commitment, and excellent training routines. Their tournament series is the nation’s premier provider of guaranteed college exposure events, operating college exposure and non-college exposure tournaments and camps throughout the East Coast.

Location: West Chester, PA
Schedule: 8am to 5:30 or 9am to 6
Compensation: $70,000 to 75,000 + performance comp plan
Opportunity: Direct Hire

Responsibilities :

  • Manage inside sales team to achieve daily, monthly, and yearly activity volume to achieve sales targets across various services and revenue streams
  • Build and manage a sales playbook to manage our sales staff in developing their overall sales efforts and skills
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure sales and marketing efforts are aligned to achieve sales targets
  • Review sales conflicts and rejection to develop new tactics and strategies for success
  • Track the sales performance of the sales team and manage sales and customer data to ensure efficient communication
  • Set sales objectives on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Oversee all sales activities by the sales team and instruct changes to be made based on performance
  • Work closely with each sales representative to gather data, insights, reporting, and information to help calibrate the sales operation
  • Understand customers’ preferences and how it should impact sales techniques, strategies, and communications of the sales team
  • Work closely with each salesperson (or "sales rep") to provide mentorship, guidance, feedback, and encouragement
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop an annual sales plan to achieve annual sales targets
  • Manage sales accountability through daily and weekly goal setting and follow-up
  • Ability to maintain professional and technical knowledge by following market trends
  • Assist with assigning sales territories and developing annual sales quotas for those territories

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of inside sales management experience
  • Proven success coaching, mentoring, and growing a successful sales team
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve sales goals
  • Effective negotiation, communication, and presentations skills
  • Energetic, organized, and professional
  • Phone etiquette and a desire to excel
  • College degree preferred
