HR Generalist
Summary: Our global client in the Triad area is looking for an HR Generalist Consultant for a temporary assignment to help with coverage and special projects.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn and expand their experience. This role has privileged access to highly sensitive information and therefore requires a candidate who acts with the utmost integrity maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
The ideal candidate brings 2 or more years of applicable HR experience, preferably in a Generalist role. Experience working in the context of a large, global organization is a plus!
Location: Greensboro, NC
Opportunity: 3-month contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Prepare job descriptions according to company standards
- Assist with setting up interviews and debrief roundtables
- Contribute to exemplary candidate experience
- Support managers through the onboarding process - providing checklists, coordinating requirements and equipment ordering, following up as needed, etc.
- Check on new hires periodically, monitors onboarding survey data
- Provide data or reports or dashboards to HR leadership as requested
- Triage employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, escalating complex/sensitive matters as appropriate HR Processes
- Support HR processes such as ADA accommodation requests, COVID tracing/case management, submittal of organizational change forms, preparation of offer letters, other administrative tasks as needed
- Provide HR project support, with the possibility to lead projects
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
- Experience across multiple disciplines of Human Resources
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in the US
- Experience with HRIS packages such as SAP Success Factors or similar
- Proven ability to communicate and partner effectively at all levels of the organization
- Experience at intermediate level in MS Office
