Tax Manager | Hybrid Schedule

One of the largest local CPA firms in the Triad area, established over 70 years ago, are seeking a Tax Manager with individual and business income tax filing and compliance experience to deliver a full range of tax services in compliance laws and regulations. The Tax Manager will build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise regarding tax planning and complex income tax returns and have the opportunity to possibly move into a partner role in the future!

Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000
Location: Winston-Salem, NC – Hybrid Schedule

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage department – coordinate staff and assess their performance
• Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
• Manage and coordinate tax audits
• Tax planning and review complex income tax returns
• Maintain tax balances on general ledger
• Prepare tax papers on regular basis and handle all info data requests
• Extensions Preparation
• Implement procedures for tax department

Job Qualifications:

• CPA certification required
• Degree in Accounting or Taxation
• 5+ years of experience in a CPA firm
• UltraTax, PPC Software, and Advanced Flow software experience preferred
