HR Generalist Summary
Our client is global leader in healthcare and technology. They have been around for over 115 years and have a presence in 130 countries, driven to improve the lives of people everywhere. They are seeking a HR Generalist to join their team. The HR Generalist will be responsible employee onboarding, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Compensation- $ 70,000-$80,000
Location- Eden Prairie, MN (Hybrid)
HR Generalist Responsibilities
- Partners with leadership to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy as it relates to current and future talent needs, retention, and succession planning
- Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
- Responsible for Employee Relations and providing advice about company and government rules, regulations, and procedures
- Assisting with HRIS Maintenance to provide ongoing opportunity to address current issues and needs as well as improvements.
- Utilize professional networks to source candidates for active requisitions from a variety of sources such as job boards, social media, and search engines, including niche communications, employee referrals, and other sources.
- Runs and delivers projects designed to improve overall HR function in an organization.
HR Generalist Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus
