Location: High Point, NC – 100% onsite
Compensation:
- $125,000 salary plus 50% bonus potential = $250,000 total compensation potential
- Plus stock-based compensation (RSU) package after 1 year

Job Summary: CRG has launched a search for a Division CFO in High Point, NC for a national top-ranking homebuilding company that has been in business for over 40 years! The Division CFO will oversee all aspects of the division’s homebuilding operations, as well as be responsible for establishing internal controls surrounding the sales, purchasing, construction, land development, AP, job starts, and closing process, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain ultimate responsibility for providing timely and accurate financial information as well as the five-year business plan to the Division President and Region/Corporate, and for ensuring that corporate policies and procedures, as defined in corporate operations manual, are carried out
- Oversee all aspects of the division’s homebuilding operations, with the authority to interact with all departments and to determine if current department policies are efficient and promote the greater well-being of the division
- Ensure that efficient policies and procedures and the proper internal controls (SOX) are in place
- Manage division’s financial reporting processes, namely that the division’s books are prepared and close within the monthly guidelines established by the corporate office, and that the financial statements accurately reflect the division’s operations
- Train all division personnel on policies, procedures and JD Edwards
- Ensure that all potential land deals meet corporate, regional, and division requirements
- Monitor development and S&B budgets to make sure there is adequate backup to support these amounts and to investigate subsequent changes
- Analyze, improve, and implement new policies and procedures
- Travel to Raleigh, NC once a quarter
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with an Accounting concentration
- CPA certification
- 8+ years of experience, including recent experience in a Controller/Accounting Manager role
- Large public homebuilder company experience
- SOX compliance experience
- Must be able to travel to Raleigh, NC quarterly
